From white belts (ungraded students) to black belts (dan affiliated clubs), the club offers a comprehensive training curriculum for all levels.

For children, parental supervision is required, and parents are always welcome to stay and observe the classes. Participants are advised to wear loose-fitting clothing such as jogging bottoms and a t-shirt or sweatshirt.
Karate is practised barefoot, so no need to worry about footwear.

The club is led by Trevor Kingston, a 5th Dan black belt with nineteen years of experience in International Karate Kyokushin. Trevor is supported by a team of dedicated black belts who assist with teaching, especially in Thanet, where the club was first established.
For those interested in joining, Karate East Kent has various training locations depending on the area. In Thanet, karate students can train at The Royal Harbour Academy (Upper site) in Newington, Ramsgate. Training times for children between 5 and 11 years old are on Monday evenings from 5. 30pm to 6.
30pm, while youths and adults can attend from 6. 30pm to 8. 00pm.
For Canterbury residents, training sessions take place at Hersden Community Centre on The Avenue in Hersden. Children between 5 and 11 years old train on Friday evenings from 6. 00pm to 7. 00pm, and youths and adults have their session from 7.

Those in Dover can join the karate students at Dover District Leisure Centre in Whitfield. Training sessions are held every Tuesday and/or Thursday evenings.
Lympne Village Hall in Hythe is the location for training sessions in Lympne, which take place every Wednesday evening.
Additionally, Sandgate Karate After School Club is held at Sandgate Primary School and is specifically designed for brown belts (2nd & 1st Kyu). The sessions are conducted every Tuesday evening.
