Founded in 1976 in Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, the IKKI Association has nine dojos in Ireland, with IKKI Newinn Karate Club being a leading branch in the region. Chief Instructor Leo Mulvany, a black belt graded through the official IKKI syllabus and validated by the IKIF in Japan, leads a team of dedicated and experienced instructors who are committed to providing top-quality instruction to all students.
The club offers a structured curriculum that encompasses a colour belt system from beginner (white belt) to black belt, with regular gradings and classes to enable students to advance in their skills and martial arts journey.
