The instructors at IGK Hawthorn have impressive credentials and experience in the martial arts. John Ross Kyoshi, the Chief Instructor, has over 35 years of experience and is a 6th Dan black belt. He has competed at state, national, and international levels with great success in both semi-contact and full-contact competitions.
Lambros Kallianiotis Renshi, an assistant to John Ross Kyoshi, also holds a 4th Dan black belt and has over 35 years of experience. He too has achieved remarkable success in state and national competitions, both in kumite (sparring) and kata (forms).
