Ice Edge Skating Club is a skating club located in Chestermere, offering a range of skating programs for skaters of all ages and skill levels. As a SkateCanada-sanctioned club, Ice Edge Skating Club provides high-quality coaching and facilities for all its members.
The club's programs include PreCanSkate and CanSkate for skaters ages 3 and up who are looking to develop fundamental skating skills. Additionally, there are Hockey/Ringette Skating Skills classes for young skaters interested in pursuing hockey or ringette. Ice Edge Skating Club also offers Teen & Adult Learn to Skate classes and Special Needs Learn to Skate classes to cater to diverse community needs.
For skaters looking to enhance their figure skating skills, including test and competitive options, the club offers a STARSkate program. This program provides access to excellent ice and training facilities for off-ice training. All programs are led by experienced and highly qualified coaches to ensure the best possible learning experience for members.
Ice Edge Skating Club is a member of True Sport and the Responsible Coaching Movement, highlighting its commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive sports environment. In addition, all members are required to have a current membership with the Chestermere Regional Community Association (CRCA). This membership must be updated annually to maintain club membership.
