Are you the owner of Hythe Sailing Club?

Hythe Sailing Club is a vibrant and welcoming sailing club located on the scenic shores of Southampton Water, in the outskirts of the picturesque New Forest in Hampshire. With a strong emphasis on family-friendly activities, the club is run by passionate members who are dedicated to creating a warm and inclusive community for all.
The club offers a diverse range of sailing activities and programmes for members to enjoy. Whether you're a seasoned racer or prefer a more relaxed sail, Hythe Sailing Club has something for everyone. Dinghy, Cruiser/Yacht, Kayak, Radio sailing, and Social programmes are all on offer, ensuring there are plenty of opportunities to get out on the water and have fun.
At the heart of the club is its clubhouse, serving as a hub for socialising and camaraderie. After a day of racing or exploring the water, members can gather at the clubhouse for a pint with fellow competitors or enjoy more formal events, such as the annual Commodore's Start of Season Fitting Out Supper. Expect a warm welcome and a refreshing drink at the clubhouse, where memories and friendships are made.
For those interested in expanding their sailing skills, Hythe Sailing Club provides ample training opportunities. Members have access to RYA Training courses, both on and off the water, for dinghies. Additionally, discounted courses are available for Skipper and Yachtmaster theory, as well as other RYA-based courses through Jolly Roger Sailing. The club actively encourages members to learn and develop their skills, ensuring everyone can confidently navigate the water.
The Kayak Club at Hythe Sailing Club is open to all members who wish to take part in water activities. Whether using their own kayaks or club kayaks, members can engage in kayaking adventures both within the club and, in the future, with planned events away from the club. Please note that full members have priority for club kayak use.
For those fascinated by the thrill of racing, the club has a dedicated sail racing section for the Dragonforce DF65. Races are held approximately 12 times per year, with three races per session. The club also has plans to organise races at other clubs and locations in the future.
If you're interested in becoming a member or bringing your boat to the club, Hythe Sailing Club welcomes you with open arms. The club has reduced its joining fee this year, making membership more accessible and affordable for all. Additionally, an optional direct debit system is available for easy payment of membership fees, as well as mooring and pound fees over an extended period of eight months.
To stay up to date with events and schedules, members can access the Members Area on the website. Here, they can login, view the calendar, and find important club information. For any inquiries or issues regarding membership or the website, the club encourages reaching out via the Contact Us page or by emailing the membership secretary.
