HWH Stables – Riding School & Trail Rides, Coffs Harbour is an award-winning horse riding school and trail riding business located in Upper Orara in the stunning Orara Valley and along the pristine Boambee Beach in Coffs Harbour, NSW, Australia. With a focus on safety and education, HWH Stables offers its guests and students highly unique experiences that allow them to live out their personal horse riding dreams.

Guests at HWH Stables have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Australia's iconic scenery while riding our friendly and brave horses. From swimming in rivers, waterholes, and the ocean surf to cantering along the beach and exploring rugged mountain ranges, there is an experience for everyone. Our horses operate well together as a herd or individually, and our guests often have the added bonus of spotting dolphins, whales, and native wildlife.

HWH Stables offers a range of riding options suitable for riders of all levels, from absolute beginners to the more experienced. Our Orara Valley Rainforest & River trails are available year-round, and our Boambee Beach & Lagoon rides are a popular choice. Our trail rides have a minimum age requirement of 7 years old and a maximum weight limit of 90 kg. Group sizes range from 1 to 6 riders, but we can accommodate larger groups upon request.

A unique service offered by HWH Stables is our Photographic Horse Riding Tours, where we capture your horse riding experience through a collection of photos. These photos are provided to you free of charge when delivered to a Facebook account or can be purchased as a high-resolution photo package.

For children under 7 years old, we recommend enrolling them in lessons at our Riding School. Led beach rides with a guide walking alongside your child while the rest of the family rides unassisted is also an option. Lessons for young children start from 4 years old, and we always prioritise fun, safety, and creating lasting memories for our guests.

All rides, clinics, and lessons at HWH Stables are conducted by Chris Fenech, a highly experienced horse owner and manager with over 30 years of experience. Chris has developed his own system that focuses on achieving the best results when training new riders of all ages in horsemanship and riding skills. Chris has previously managed a 3. 5 million-acre cattle station in the Kimberley region of WA and has also worked as an instructor and tour guide at various horse riding establishments, including Moore Park Stables in Sydney.
