Welcome to HWH Stables Beach Ride Meeting Point, an award-winning Horse Riding School & Trail Riding business located in the beautiful Orara Valley and along the pristine Boambee Beach of Coffs Harbour, NSW, Australia. With a focus on safety and education, HWH Stables offers its guests and students highly unique experiences that often fulfil personal dreams and bucket-list items.
At HWH Stables, guests have the opportunity to swim with their horses in rivers, waterholes, ocean surf, and lagoons. They can also enjoy cantering along the beach, running free through rugged ranges, or learning to ride with confidence, athleticism, and strength through clinics and lessons. Our friendly horses are clever and brave, operating well together as a herd and guiding guests through Australia's iconic scenery, while also providing the chance to spot dolphins, whales, and other native wildlife and flora.
In addition to our popular Boambee Beach & Lagoon rides, we offer trails through the Orara Valley Rainforest and River. These trails are available all year round and cater to riders of all levels, from absolute beginners to the more experienced. The minimum age for trail rides is 7 years old, with a maximum weight limit of 90 kg. Group sizes range from 1 to 6 riders, and larger groups can be accommodated upon discussion.
A unique service offered by HWH Stables is our Photographic Horse Riding Tours, which captures the experience in photos. Guests receive a collection of these photos for free when delivered to a Facebook account, or they can purchase a high-resolution photo package. For children under 7 years old, we highly recommend lessons at our Riding School or a led beach ride with a guide walking the child while the rest of the family rides independently.
Chris Fenech, with over 30 years of experience owning and managing horses, conducts all rides, clinics, and lessons at HWH Stables. Chris has developed his own training system and has trained riders of all ages in horsemanship and riding skills. His experience includes managing a 3. 5 million acre cattle station in the Kimberley of WA, where he offered pastoral-based tourism activities and operated an on-site training facility for Indigenous trainees.
Chris has also worked as an instructor and tour guide at various horse riding establishments, including Moore Park Stables in Sydney.
HWH Stables welcomes guests to reserve their visit and experience one or more of our horse riding tours or register for regular lessons and clinics. We also offer services such as trail rides, horsemanship clinics, riding lessons, children's parties, horse hire for weddings, and special events throughout the year, subject to weather conditions and availability.
