Hunwick Cricket Club, located on the outskirts of Durham, NZ, was established in 1894. With a rich history, we are proud to be an ECB Clubmark club. Our club is known for its friendly and inclusive atmosphere, making us a popular choice for cricket enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels.
At Hunwick CC, we have a total of three senior teams, consisting of a 1st XI, 2nd XI, and 3rd XI. Additionally, we run four junior teams, catering to age groups U9, U11, U13, and U15. This allows us to nurture young talent and foster a love for the sport from a young age. We are affiliated with the North East Durham Cricket League, where we compete in various matches throughout the season.
Our cricket ground, Hunwick Cricket Ground, is situated in Hunwick Playing Fields on Rough Lea in Crook. It is a well-maintained facility that provides an excellent playing surface for our games. Moreover, we also have a clubhouse on-site, known as The Club House, where players and supporters can gather, socialise, and enjoy the camaraderie that comes with being part of a cricket club.
As a community-driven club, we are proud to have strong support from our sponsors.
