Hunningham Cricket Club

Hunningham Cricket Club is a picturesque club located next to the stunning River Leam, just five miles East of Leamington Spa in Warwickshire. With a rich history dating back to 1994, Hunningham CC offers a welcoming and inclusive environment for players of all ages and abilities.

As the 2023 season approaches, Hunningham Cricket Club is gearing up for another exciting summer at their Tranters Field ground. The club takes great pride in maintaining the beauty of their ground and recently held a 'Ground Force Day' where volunteers worked hard to rejuvenate the outdoor nets and complete various other tasks.

Heading into the 2023 season, the 1st team, led by Captain Lewis Mundy, will compete in the Warwickshire League – Div. 5 East. The 2nd team, captained by Harry Warren, will compete in Div. 9 East.

Senior training sessions will commence on April 12th at Hunningham Cricket Club, with new players always welcome to join.

Hunningham CC is renowned for its thriving Junior section, offering opportunities for young players from All Stars and Dynamos up to the U15s. The club aims to provide quality coaching and a fun environment for all juniors. With a full quota of teams, Hunningham will be bustling with activity most nights of the week.

The club's commitment to developing cricket at the grassroots level has earned recognition from the Warwickshire Cricket Board, who highlighted Hunningham CC's success stories in their publication. The club's resourcefulness and community spirit make it a cherished part of village cricket.

Looking back at the 2022 season, Hunningham CC eagerly awaits the return to wearing their whites and representing the club across various leagues. The club's winter nets have seen a positive response from both seasoned players and newcomers, fuelling their ambition for promotion.

For seniors, the 1st XI will start their season with a friendly away game at Fillongley, followed by the first Division 6 East game against Peugeot CC – 1st XI at Tranters Field. The 2nd XI will begin their season with a friendly against Willoughby before diving into Division 8 South Central with an away game against Bablake CC 3rd XI. The Sunday XI will kick off a series of friendlies with a game at the stunning Stoneleigh CC.

Hunningham CC's Junior section continues to thrive, with teams across various age groups and hosting All Stars and Dynamos sessions on Friday evenings, providing an opportunity for parents to gather socially as well.
