Jackie's been hard at work, and she’s thrilled to share some exciting news about the new Hove Dance Centre website launching in 2024. She and her team have crafted a platform that's easy to use and packed with all the information you'll need about classes, events, and services. The updated site will include a fresh timetable, an online booking system, and a photo gallery from past dance events.

Since Hove Dance Centre began in 1968, it's been Jackie's mission to offer top-notch dance training in a friendly and relaxed setting. All the teachers at HDC are highly qualified with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), known for being the best international dance teacher society. Jackie is proud of her experienced team who are eager to share their love for dance with students of all levels.

Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your skills, HDC has something for everyone. There’s a range of group classes, along with private tuition for those seeking a more personalised experience. Jackie’s team is available throughout the week for one-to-one lessons, ensuring you get the focused attention you need to excel.

Jackie also believes dance is about more than just technique—it’s about the joy of moving and the community it creates. That’s why HDC hosts regular social events, offering a fantastic chance to practice your moves in a fun, social setting. These gatherings are a brilliant way to meet new people and feel part of the vibrant dance community at HDC.

Located at Prestwich House, North Street, Portslade, East Sussex, the dance school is easily accessible. The studio is open Monday to Friday from 7am to 10pm, Saturdays from 8am to 10pm, and Sundays from 8am to 4pm, providing a spacious and well-equipped environment for all classes and events.
