Are you the owner of Hough End Griffins JFC?

Hough End Gryphons JFC, based in Manchester, is a well-respected football club formed in 2005 by a group of enthusiastic parents eager to establish a community-driven junior football team. What began with a handful of players has since grown into a dynamic club with nearly 300 young footballers, both boys and girls, between the ages of 5 and 16.
Mark, along with a committed team of parent volunteers, leads the charge with 18 teams that provide ample opportunities for kids to dive into regular football activities. Their hard work has not gone unnoticed; the club has been honoured with the esteemed FA Charter Standard Development Club of the Year Award in both 2010 and 2014, a clear sign of their dedication to nurturing young football talent.
The Gryphons have even caught the attention of football legends like Gary Neville, Gary Pallister, and Martin Keown, who have visited the club to deliver coaching masterclasses, alongside McDonald's Head of Coaching, Eric Harrison. These events underscore the club’s unwavering commitment to its local community.
In today’s climate, Mark ensures the club strictly adheres to all UK Government and FA guidelines regarding COVID-19, making health and safety a top priority. The club also places a heavy emphasis on safeguarding, appointing a Club Welfare Officer to implement thorough child protection measures.
All coaches are subject to enhanced DBS checks and hold at least an FA Level 1 coaching qualification. They also undergo regular training in safeguarding and emergency aid to stay sharp on child protection practices.
Hough End Gryphons JFC remains open and transparent, encouraging members and parents to report any concerns about child safety to the Club Welfare Officer or the Manchester County FA Welfare Officer. The NSPCC 24-hour Helpline is also available for urgent issues.
With a strong track record and an inclusive environment, Hough End Gryphons JFC provides an excellent platform for young football enthusiasts to thrive both on and off the pitch.
