The FUNdamentals of agility focus on movements such as starting, stopping, changing direction, rotation, reaction, and complex movements. The FUNdamentals of balance cover aspects related to the height of the centre of gravity, losing balance, extending the base, and positioning the centre of gravity. Lastly, the FUNdamentals of coordination involve organising limbs, generating force, differentiating force, speed, accuracy, and interception.
Horsham Karate & Tai Chi Club has multiple branches in Horsham, Crawley, and Broadbridge Health. They offer classes for both adults and children aged 6 and above. The club is under the expert guidance of Paul Elliott, an 8th Dan, Shogo Kyoshi. Paul has been teaching traditional Wado-Ryu Karate since 1980, and he himself has been training in martial arts since 1972. With his extensive knowledge and experience, he ensures that all students receive quality instruction and guidance.
Horsham Karate & Tai Chi Club is affiliated with renowned martial arts organisations such as the British Wado Federation (BWF), European Wado Federation (EWF), and International Wado Federation (IWF). All their instructors have completed various courses, including first aid, coaching children, protecting children, safe training, and karate teaching skills. Additionally, the club and instructors have martial arts insurance for professional indemnity and public liability.
