Welcome to Horsham Baptists & Ambassadors Football Club, also known as HBAFC. This football club is based in Horsham, West Sussex and is affiliated with the Sussex F. A. Our club is run by Brighton Road Baptist Church and welcomes players from both the church and other churches in the Horsham area, as well as players from non-church backgrounds.
We are united by our love of football and our commitment to playing the game with passion, commitment, and respect.
HBAFC has a strong focus on promoting good football and building team spirit. We prioritise fair play and encourage our players to develop their skills while fostering a sense of sportsmanship. Furthermore, we believe that football is not just a game, but also a social opportunity for players and families. Whether it's our Presentation Day or just a casual get-together, we strive to create a fun and family-friendly environment where everyone feels welcome.
Our club field three adult teams (16+). Two of these teams compete in The West Sussex Football League. The First Team plays in Division 2 North, while the Reserves play in Division 4 North. We also have a Veterans team (35+) made up of current and former players who participate in friendly matches with other local veteran teams.
In addition to our adult teams, we have youth teams that compete in the Horsham & District Youth League. We offer mixed teams for U11's and U15's boys. Horsham Baptists & Ambassadors Football Club is a member of the Sussex FA, and all our team coaches are qualified with a FA Coaching badge and CRB checked.
We welcome not only players to our club but also encourage involvement from parents, grandparents, friends, and partners. We are always looking for volunteers to help guide and support our teams.
Our mission is to reach those involved in the local sporting community for Christ. We aim to play in local adult and youth leagues in a way that glorifies God and positively influences both our team and our opponents. Our club provides football opportunities for all abilities and ages.
