Embark on a horseback riding adventure at Historic Reesor Ranch, located in Maple Creek, Canada. From May 1st to October 31st, 2024, the ranch offers daily rides scheduled at 10am, 1pm, and 4pm, allowing guests to explore the stunning Cypress Hills West Block Wilderness Area. The two-hour horseback riding adventure is perfect for those aged 10 and above, providing a wonderful introduction to the world of horses and riding. Before setting off, participants will have the opportunity to brush, saddle, and bond with their horses, making for a truly immersive experience. Junior Cowgirls and Cowboys aged 6-9 can join the 'Training for Trails' program, which provides a one-hour introduction in the corral and obstacle course. Participants will learn basic horse control, safety, and gain confidence in riding on various trail terrains. Older children and adults looking to hone their skills are welcome to join as well, with the cost set at $69 per person.
For those interested in team-building activities, 'Hanging Out With Horses' offers group exercises with our equine friends to enhance trust and communication skills in a relaxed environment. The one-hour experience is priced at $69 per person. Please note that additional taxes and fees apply to all horse-related activities, and a waiver must be signed prior to participating. We recommend proper attire, including footwear with a maximum 2-inch heel, long trousers, and hats to ensure a comfortable ride. Helmets are provided and required for riders under 18, while bug spray and other essential items are suggested during the ride to ensure a pleasant experience.
