Tom is a former state champion, National medallist, and international competitor, utilising his expertise and 10 years of teaching and coaching experience to benefit the students at Horizon Taekwondo.

The Mini Rangers programme offered at Horizon Taekwondo is specifically designed for children aged 3 to 5 years old. This programme focuses on building a strong foundation for young students by targeting coordination, balance, and flexibility while teaching the principles of martial arts such as respect and discipline. The students in this programme learn the basics of martial arts and build their self-confidence in a fun and supported environment.

The nationally accredited Mini Rangers programme is developed using the Early Years Learning Framework and aims to not only improve agility, balance, and coordination but also attitude, behaviour, and confidence in participants. This can greatly assist in their transition to school. The programme can also provide a unique selling point for Early Learning Centres. The instructors at Horizon Taekwondo have extensive experience in the Early Learning Centre setting and hold DHS working with children clearances.
