Lisa and the crew have been putting together some great plans for the upcoming outdoor season, running from April to September. Whether you're a pure beginner or a fierce competitor, there's a spot for you on our green. Don’t forget, we’ve got a buzzing social calendar too – plenty to do besides the bowling!
Lisa’s keen on making sure the club stays inclusive – young or old, seasoned pro or newbie, everyone’s welcome. It’s a cracking way for families to bond, make memories, and enjoy a bit of healthy competition together. And from what our members say, bowls really is a sport for life.
If you’re new to the game, no worries – the basic aim is pretty straightforward. Plus, our coaches and seasoned players love to share tips and tricks. It might take some practise and focus, but trust us, it’s worth it. Even the doctors say playing bowls is great for your overall health, both physically and mentally.
Lisa encourages everyone to take a look at our website for all the details about the club and what we offer. Our green is open most days, except for those maintenance mornings on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (9:00 to 11:30).
