Holly Bellsham Performing Arts

Welcome to the Holly Bellsham School of Performing Arts, a dance school located in Petts Wood, Orpington, Kent. Founded in 2004, our school aims to provide fun and enjoyable performing arts classes for all ages. We offer a range of disciplines including ballet, tap, street jazz, drama, and singing.

Unlike traditional dance schools, we do not put emphasis on examinations. Instead, our pupils follow a structured syllabus in a pressure-free environment, allowing them to simply enjoy the art of dance. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to shine and showcase their talent on stage. That's why we hold Summer Shows, where pupils perform a themed show in a theatre, complete with awards and certificates.

Previous shows have included 'Peter Pan', 'The Jungle Book', 'Annie', 'Alice in Wonderland', and our latest production, 'The Wizard of Oz' at The Stag Theatre.

Lessons are available for age 2 upwards, and take place on week day evenings and Saturdays, depending on age. Our experienced and dedicated teachers provide top-quality instruction in tap, ballet, street dance, singing, and drama. We also offer additional activities throughout the year, such as competitions, workshops with West End professionals, and theatre trips. Previous workshops have included the cast of 'Hairspray' and 'Ghost' the musical, as well as 'Britain's Got Talent' finalists 'Twist and Pulse'.

At Holly Bellsham School of Performing Arts, we believe in giving our pupils the opportunity to expand their horizons and take part in a wide range of performing opportunities. We work closely with casting directors, providing our students with audition and casting opportunities. Our pupils have performed in prestigious venues such as Wembley Stadium and the Olympic Stadium. They have also been selected to perform in musical productions like 'Fiddler on The Roof!

' at The Churchill Theatre and have even recorded a Christmas song in a professional recording studio. In February 2017, our pupils were fortunate to spend a day dancing with the renowned Street Troupe 'DIVERSITY'.

All pupils are required to wear the correct uniform for all classes, as it differs based on the discipline and standard. Our fees are charged per term and vary depending on the duration of the class. We take pride in offering competitive and affordable fees.
