Splash-happy Swimschool is excited to announce their upcoming Holiday Intensive Courses, taking place during the Summer School holidays in Westbury-On-Trym. These daily lessons are designed to help participants gain confidence and improve their swimming skills. Whether you're a beginner or looking to enhance your stroke technique, there's something for everyone. Beginners will receive guidance on fundamental strokes like Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and basic Butterfly. If you need extra help with a specific stroke, the Stroke Improvement course offers intensive coaching tailored to your needs. Expect a mix of drills and activities to help you master the stroke. Participants will also take part in fun activities like push and glides, surface dives, and touch turns.
For those aged 8 and over, Splash-happy Swimschool offers a Junior Lifeguard Academy program filled with exciting aquatic activities. From pool sports to rescuing exercises and personal survival skills, there's plenty of fun and learning to be had. Participants will also learn about artistic swimming, water polo, and techniques for identifying and rescuing casualties from the water.
Mark your calendars for the Summer of 2024! The Easter intensive runs from April 2nd to April 5th, with lessons available in the mornings at 9am, 9.30am, 10am, and 11am. The Summer intensive courses are divided into three weeks: Week 1 (July 24th-28th), Week 2 (July 29th-August 2nd), and Week 3 (August 5th-9th).
