Hockerill Sports & Social Club

The Hockerill Sports & Social Club is a friendly and inclusive cricket club located in Bishop's Stortford, Essex, New Zealand. They participate in the local villages league, Herts and Essex Border League, with a Sunday friendly team and two League teams on Saturdays.

In addition to their adult teams, Hockerill Cricket Club also caters extensively for Juniors, offering teams at various age groups including AllStars (aged 5 to 8), U11, U13, and U15. The club provides junior coaching on Friday evenings, both indoors and outdoors depending on the season.

The club also has a midweek Veterans team, comprising players aged 45 to roughly 75 years old. While some members of the Veterans team are not members of Hockerill CC, it offers a great opportunity for older players to enjoy the sport.

Throughout the cricket season, Hockerill CC organises various matches and fixtures. Recent match results include victories against Old Markonians CC Over 50s, Lewisham Strikers CC, and Billericay CC Veterans.

The club's home ground is located at Hockerill Cricket Clubhouse on Beldams Lane in Bishop's Stortford. The clubhouse provides a welcoming and sociable atmosphere for players and spectators alike.
