Welcome to Hobson Golf Club, arguably the most improved golf course in the Newcastle upon Tyne area. Our aim is to deliver great value golf, with full tees and greens available all Winter. A warm welcome awaits you in our clubhouse, where you can join us in the 19th hole for food and refreshments in a relaxed environment.
Our course is currently open, with certain conditions in place. There are no buggies allowed, all bunkers are Ground Under Repair, and ground protection mats are required on all fairways. Preferred lies are also in effect on all mown areas.

Since our club formed in 2001, our focus has been on improving the condition of the course. Through our dedication and investment in drainage work and machinery for our green keeper, the results can truly be seen on our greens and fairways. Measuring a weighty 6403 yards, our par 70 meadowland golf course will test every aspect of your game. With long par 4s, challenging par 3s, tree-lined fairways, and thick rough, it provides a truly challenging golf experience.

If you are looking for a venue for your special event, our clubhouse offers excellent bar, lounge, and restaurant facilities with a panoramic view of the 1st and 18th holes. It can be hired for private functions, accommodating up to 80 people. Our bar offers a wide selection of beers, lagers, wines, and spirits. We have standard menu options, buffet menu options, or can create catering packages tailored to your requirements and budget.
