About

The Hobart Football Club is excited to announce its plans for the upcoming season in 2024. After a brief hiatus, the club is all set to make a comeback and participate in the Southern Football League Seniors and Reserves competitions. As the club gears up for its 80th anniversary, there is a buzz of anticipation in the air.

Today, on November 2, 2023, the club takes great pride in unveiling the enhancements made to its TCA Ground Clubrooms, fondly known as “The Den.” These improvements have come to fruition thanks to the valuable partnerships with Choices Flooring Hobart and the City of Hobart. The club is immensely grateful for their support in upgrading the facilities.

These improvements are just a glimpse of what the Hobart Football Club has in store for the future. The club has developed a new strategic plan for the years 2024 to 2027, focusing on various aspects such as culture, facilities, junior pathways, and volunteers. With the aim to enhance the club culture and further foster the growth of junior participants, the Hobart Football Club is determined to leave a lasting impact on the community.

Furthermore, the club has set its sights on introducing a senior women's team in 2025. This not only showcases the club's commitment to inclusivity but also provides a fantastic opportunity for female athletes to showcase their skills on the field. The club's President, Josh Munting, has expressed his vision of rebuilding a positive image for the club within the community, emphasising the importance of family, friendships, and a harmonious work-life balance.

To achieve these goals, the Hobart Football Club has appointed Aaron Vince as its Director of Coaching. The club is currently in the process of searching for the next Senior Coach, hoping to find someone who shares the same passion for the sport and who can contribute to building on the club's rich history. Interested applicants can contact Aaron Vince for further information.

Media inquiries and additional information can be directed towards President Josh Munting, who will be more than happy to assist. As the Hobart Football Club moves forward with its plans, make sure to stay tuned for updates and exciting developments. This is an opportunity to be part of a thriving club that is dedicated to nurturing talent, strengthening community bonds, and leaving a positive impact in the world of football.
