Emma, the organiser, wants everyone to know about Hinckley Ladies Netball Club, nestled in Hinckley, Leicestershire. This club has been a staple for netball lovers since 1975. Emma’s main goal is to get everyone involved, no matter your age, background, or skill level. The vibe is all about participation, having a go, and enjoying yourself.
The club runs both senior and junior programmes. For girls aged 11 to 16, junior training happens on Wednesdays from 6:00 pm to 7:25 pm. These juniors also get to compete in Sunday matches across four teams. Do note, the junior session is quite popular and currently full, but there’s a waiting list you can join.
For the over-16s, senior training is also on Wednesdays, from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm. These sessions get players ready to compete in the Coventry & North Warwickshire adult league, with matches held on Saturdays. Emma wants to ensure that players of all abilities feel included and can improve their netball skills.
Coaching here is top-notch. Experienced coaches are on hand to help everyone sharpen their skills and boost their confidence. The aim is to ensure each player develops a strong understanding of netball tactics and strategies.
If you’re interested in joining, Emma can be reached via email at secretary@hinckleyladiesnetball.com. You can also follow the club on Instagram @hinckleyladiesnetball or find them on Facebook @hinckleyladiesnetballclub.
Throughout the year, the club is buzzing with events and tournaments. The Beth Richards Tournament and a lively Christmas Party are just a couple of highlights. There’s even a summer camp run by junior coaches, perfect for young players to up their game and make friends.
Hinckley Ladies Netball Club has a rich history, with plenty of archived material on past teams, matches, and awards. Safety is also a priority, with strong safeguarding policies and a clear privacy statement.
Emma wants to make sure everyone feels welcome at Hinckley Ladies Netball Club. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting, there’s a spot for you to enjoy netball and be part of a supportive community.
