Trails of Hilly Fields. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced runner, these sessions are suitable for all running abilities.
The Hilly Fields Run Sessions offer a winter series that starts on Friday, January 19th, 2024. There are two time slots available: 9:30am for all abilities and 11am for those returning to running after a break. The workouts for the 11am session will be of shorter distances and will have flatter options, allowing for extra warm-up, stretching, strength, and mobility exercises to aid in injury prevention.
For those who prefer a more flexible schedule, Festive Pop-Up Run Sessions are available to book individually on select dates in December and January. These sessions provide the same structured and small group experience as the signature series.
In addition to the group run sessions, there is also a collaboration with MaceMasters called “Strength for Runners. ” These strength training sessions specifically target runners and aim to reduce the risk of running injuries while boosting performance. The sessions incorporate long and short maces, resistance bands, and bodyweight exercises. These sessions take place every Saturday at Hilly Fields Stone Circle, starting at 9:45am and can be joined after parkrun.
For those who prefer more personalised attention, 1:1 or private group running sessions are available. These sessions are tailored to individual running goals, whether it is running further, running faster, starting to run, enjoying running more, training for an event, returning after injury, or running without getting injured. Prices for these sessions start at 45 per hour.
For those training for a marathon or half-marathon, there are bespoke support packs available to help reach your goals. These packs can include a combination of 1:1 sessions, group running and strength sessions, initial training plan assistance, ongoing modifications, and sports massage. The Hilly Fields Run Sessions believe that running together adds fun, motivation, and challenge to running, helping participants reach their running goals.
