Hilltop Golf Course

David Wheeler, Midlands Area Manager of Mytime Active, has a message for our sports community. Hilltop Golf Course, nestled in the countryside near West Bromwich, is currently closed for a re-development programme. Working with Birmingham City Council, Mytime Active has invested £1.2 million into the golf course to offer a wider range of products and services for our community.

Although there were some delays due to COVID, the project is now back on track. Hilltop is still a construction site and remains out of bounds for the public. For the latest updates, you can subscribe to the newsletter or follow them on social media.

The refurbishment includes a new clubhouse, a 9-hole golf course, and a driving range. The driving range will give locals a fun and affordable way to practice their swing. The new 9-hole course is designed to welcome both seasoned golfers and beginners.

David highlights that Hilltop Golf Course is set to become more than just an 18-hole course. It will be a community space aimed at improving wellbeing for future generations. Plans include a nine-hole par 3 course, improvements to the existing 18-hole course for better walking and drainage, and a family-friendly academy for learning and teaching.
