Welcome to Hickmans Kickboxing Academy (HKA) in Cradley Heath! 🥋 Founded by Garry Hickman, along with Natalie Hickman and other amazing instructors, HKA is where experience meets passion, offering classes to people of all ages and skill levels. With 30+ years of expertise, they make sure everyone feels welcome and safe.
HKA has both male and female instructors, making it a comfortable place for everyone. They're all fully qualified, CRB checked, and first aid certified, so you're in good hands.
What’s cool about HKA? You train with Midlands and British champions! 🏆 They also encourage participating in competitions to help you become the best.
Garry himself holds an 8th Dan black belt in Kickboxing, along with impressive belts in Karate and Ju Jitsu. He’s been rocking the martial arts world for over 40 years in various styles and competitions. His passion and family legacy are the pillars of HKA.
Classes are held at multiple locations:
- **Mondays**: Ladies-only kickboxing at Leasowes Sports Centre (7:30 pm - 9:00 pm, £4 per session).
- **Wednesdays**: Kids club (6:30 pm - 7:30 pm) and adult kickboxing (8:00 pm - 9:00 pm) at Leasowes Sports Centre.
- **Fridays**: Classes at Ormiston Forge Academy (7:00 pm - 8:30 pm).

Natalie Hickman, with a 4th Dan in Kickboxing and a 2nd Dan in Karate, also coaches at HKA. She's a first aid certificate holder, sports coach, and a health service self-defence advisor, making her a top-notch instructor.
Big news – Garry has been elected to the executive committee of the country's largest martial arts association (AMA) and appointed as its director of kickboxing. His recent 8th Dan award was a highlight at the AMA executive meeting in Bradford.
