Hethersett And Tas Cricket Club, affectionately known as Hethersett & Tas-Valley CC, stands as a vibrant and welcoming community hub in Norwich. Founded in the 19th century, the club has made its home at Taswood Lakes, Flordon, since 2003.
Chris, the organiser, wants every player, regardless of age or skill level, to find their place in this dynamic club. With four adult Saturday teams competing in the Norfolk Cricket Alliance and the Norfolk Cricket League, plus a Sunday side in the Mid-Norfolk Sunday League, there’s a team for everyone.
Chris also champions diverse competitions, including the National Village Cup, Challenge Cup, Hunts Cup, and the NACO Shield. For the younger generation, the club has junior teams from Under-9 to Under-17, competing in the South Norfolk Community League and the Norfolk Alliance Junior Leagues.
Women's cricket flourishes here too, with both a Ladies' hardball and softball XI competing in the Norfolk Women's League. An Over-40s Men's team adds even more diversity to the club.
Chris is passionate about player development, ensuring the club takes part in the regional Vitality Blast T20, offering the U19s a stage to shine and grow.
Thanks to generous sponsorships, Hethersett And Tas Cricket Club continually nurtures talent and strengthens community ties. Chris invites all cricket enthusiasts to join the club or learn more by visiting their website. They’re ready to welcome new members who share their passion for cricket.
The club is proudly affiliated with Play-Cricket, an ECB platform, enhancing user experience with its website technologies. For more details, check their privacy statement and terms on their site.
