Starting his training at the age of 11 under Sensei Gurmit Singh, he faced a setback due to the loss of his mother at the age of 15. During this time, Sensei Aamar discovered a passion for Boxing, but eventually returned to Karate training with renewed dedication. He later established the current Slough Dojo and has been training and teaching the style of Karate-Do Goju Ryu since then.
