The Hervey Bay 100 Triathlon is gearing up for an exciting event along the stunning foreshore. Participants will tackle the challenging Long Course triathlon, starting and finishing in Scarness Park. Transition area is conveniently located in the car park next to the park, making it easy for athletes to gear up for their next leg of the race.
The cycle leg of the race will see competitors take on a 20 km loop along the Esplanade, including the infamous 'Gatakers Hill'. With four laps to complete, spectators will have plenty of chances to cheer on their favourite triathletes while exploring the race precinct's shops and dining options.
The Asics Run Leg offers a scenic 6 km loop along the Esplanade pathway, passing through the heart of the race expo and club tents. Three laps of this course will bring competitors back through the transition/finish area, where the lively atmosphere is sure to motivate them towards the finish line in Scarness Park.
Throughout the race, aid stations will be strategically placed to provide participants with much-needed hydration and energy boosts. Spectators are encouraged to show their support by cheering on their loved ones or clubmates as they tackle the challenging course.
