The Canoe Sports Trust is excited to announce the upcoming Herts 4 day Watersports Summer Camp for young people aged 11 to 16 in Hertfordshire. This camp is all about getting kids out on the water and having a blast! Thanks to the support from Hertfordshire County Council, this camp is part of the HAPpy Camps initiative, ensuring that young people entitled to free school meals can join in on the fun.
Participants at the camp will get to try out a variety of paddlesports, including Sit on Tops, Kayaks, Canoes, SUPs, and the Mega SUP. The activities will take place in a beautiful spring-fed freshwater lake, with a scenic journey along the Grand Union Canal. To top it off, campers will also get the chance to learn some basic cooking skills and whip up their own hot meal on the final day of the camp.
Since this is an amateur event, spots are limited to just 24 participants. It's first-come, first-served, so make sure to secure your spot soon! To sign up, participants should be comfortable in the water and able to swim 25 meters. Keep an eye out for booking information, which will be provided once funding is confirmed and a HAPpy reference number is received from Hertfordshire County Council.
Get ready for a summer of watersports fun with The Canoe Sports Trust's Herts 4 day Watersports Summer Camp!
