Heritage Dance Studio in Stockton-on-Tees has been a cornerstone of the local community since 1989. Founded by Karen Heritage, the studio has grown from a church hall gathering to two modern studios in Stockton Town Centre, now supporting around 300 students.
Karen Heritage brings over 30 years of teaching experience in styles ranging from tap to acro-gymnastics. With a strong educational background and numerous qualifications, Karen is dedicated to teaching students of all ages. She also works with Earthbeat Theatre Company, creating inclusive spaces for adults with learning difficulties, and freelances as a choreographer.
Supporting Karen is Kayleigh, the Studio Manager. She’s been with the studio since she was 2 and has been teaching since 2004. Kayleigh oversees the studio’s daily operations and helps with choreography and class structuring. She also runs the in-house shop, Pirouette.
Mollie, another key team member, started dancing at the studio at age 3 and now teaches after earning a First-Class Honours Degree in Performing Arts. She specialises in Musical Theatre and manages the studio's online presence.
Heritage Dance Studio aims to provide a welcoming environment with top-notch facilities. Whether you’re just starting or looking to enhance your skills, they’re accepting new students and would love for you to join the Heritage family.
