Helmore Gym is a fitness centre located in Cambridge, New Zealand. Situated on the first floor of the Helmore Building at the main campus on East Road, the gym is easily accessible to students, staff, and members of the public.
Helmore Gym prides itself on offering a wide range of state-of-the-art cardiovascular equipment. Each machine features a 15 LCD touchscreen console with built-in digital channels and internet browsers, allowing users to stay entertained and connected while working out. The gym also houses two Olympic lifting platforms and racks, catering to those interested in weightlifting. Additionally, the gym is equipped with a variety of dumbbells ranging from 2.

To enhance the overall gym experience, Helmore Gym offers lockers and changing facilities. Members can securely store their belongings while they exercise and freshen up after their workouts. In addition to the main gym area, Helmore Gym collaborates with the Students' Union to provide fitness classes in the nearby Coslett Dance Studio (COS 010). Participants of these classes are welcome to utilise the lockers and changing facilities at Helmore Gym before and after their sessions. Furthermore, Helmore Gym offers a tennis court on the Cambridge campus, exclusively for the use of students and staff. Located at the rear of Peter Taylor House, the court can be booked free of charge through Helmore Gym, providing an additional opportunity for physical activity and recreation.
