Welcome to Hedge End Junior Cricket Club (HEJCC). Located in Southampton, Hampshire, HEJCC is a friendly and sociable cricket club that aims to foster a lifelong love of cricket in children and their parents. With teams at U9s, U11s, U13s, U15s, and U17s, HEJCC provides opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels.
Managed by dedicated parent volunteers, HEJCC benefits from the expertise and guidance of professional cricket coaches and access to top-notch training facilities. As an inclusive club, HEJCC predominantly enters teams into the B leagues, allowing every player to participate and contribute to the game. However, stronger players have the opportunity to play up an age group or, in some cases, compete in a more selective A league team.
HEJCC trains throughout the year, with indoor training taking place at Wildern & Deer Park Schools from September to April, and outdoor training conducted at Botley, Deer Park, and Turnpike Way Cricket Grounds from May to August. This comprehensive training programme ensures that players have ample opportunities to develop their skills and enhance their cricketing abilities.
