In addition to strength training, Heavy Metals also provides its members with access to nutrition and sports massage services. While more information is coming soon, members can expect expert advice on nutrition to optimise their performance and recovery, as well as professional sports massage to relieve muscle tension and promote overall well-being.
Heavy Metals is open from Monday to Friday, from 2:00pm to 9:00pm, and on Saturdays from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. These flexible hours ensure that members can find a time that suits their schedule to train and receive guidance from the coaches.
Heavy Metals was established in 2018 by Favian Arcidiacono, a proud Townsville local. Favian realised the benefits of training in a team environment after his first Powerlifting competition in 2016. He understood that participating and training together with like-minded individuals could lead to better results. This realisation inspired him to create Heavy Metals, a gym that not only focuses on strength training but also provides a supportive community for its members.
