Heart of England – World Taekwondo – Coventry is a well-established Tae kwon do school located in Coventry, offering classes for individuals of all ages and skill levels. Founded in 1974, the club has a long history of producing highly skilled practitioners and instructors.
As a member of British Taekwondo, the national governing body for Olympic Taekwondo in the UK, Heart of England Taekwondo is committed to promoting and practising Olympic Taekwondo as it is developed and practised in South Korea. This makes it the only Taekwondo association in the region that provides training in authentic Olympic Taekwondo.

British Taekwondo, established in 1982, is responsible for all aspects of WT/Olympic Taekwondo in the UK and is recognised by the British Olympic Association and UK Sport.
The club also follows the grading syllabus provided by the Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Headquarters and the centre for education and Dan promotion testing. This ensures that students progress through the ranks systematically, with clear guidelines and requirements for each belt level.
