Heart Horse Academy

Heart Horse Academy is a horse riding school located in Vancouver, British Columbia. Founded by mothers and horse lovers, Amelia and Johanna, the academy aims to provide a unique and special experience for children to connect with horses. With over 20 years of professional coaching and handling experience, the founders are dedicated to creating a safe and kind environment for children to learn and grow in their horse riding skills.

Located in the beautiful Southlands Equestrian Village, just fifteen minutes from downtown Vancouver, Heart Horse Academy is nestled amongst private and public farms, home to three hundred horses. The academy calls Harlow Farm home, a boutique equestrian property with a spacious riding ring and newly-built barn. This serene and picturesque setting provides the perfect backdrop for children to develop their love for horses.

Heart Horse Academy offers a range of programs, including the popular HEART HORSE 1 8 Week Course, which immerses participants in all things horses. From equine body language and behaviour to centred riding and horse health care, this program follows Equine Canada Rider Level guidelines. Additionally, the LITTLE HORSE LOVER program starting in June 2022 is designed to foster the bond between children and their equine companions, teaching them valuable skills and instilling a sense of pride in their accomplishments.
