Founded by Personal Trainer Nick Bowring, who has over 10 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, Healthspan Fitness offers a welcoming space for all individuals to train in. As part of our 4-step process, we begin with an initial musculoskeletal assessment. This assessment, conducted by a chiropractor or physiotherapist, helps identify any areas of weakness or concern that we need to address. By determining these weaknesses, we can implement exercises to help build strength in a safe and secure manner.
Following the musculoskeletal assessment, we move on to a movement assessment. This assessment is designed to challenge your weaknesses and help you feel stronger safely. It may also include assessments of your fitness levels.
Once we have gathered all the necessary information, we create a personalised physical and nutritional plan tailored specifically to your goals. This plan will outline how often you need to complete your exercise programme and provide an estimated timeline for achieving your goals. We also discuss nutritional targets, such as calories and macronutrients, which will vary depending on your specific goals.
