Welcome to Hayston Golf Club, a gently undulating, tree-lined, parkland course located in the central belt of Glasgow, just a few miles north of the city in Kirkintilloch. Designed by James Braid and visited by the great man himself in 1946, the course has seen many changes over the years and is currently in excellent condition thanks to the continuous improvement and maintenance carried out by our Head Greenkeeper Alan and his team.
Spanning a mere 72 acres, Hayston Golf Club may be small, but it offers an expansive and challenging golfing experience. The course features beautifully elevated greens, strategically placed bunkers, and varying slopes and tilts that add an element of excitement to every round. With a card reading 6,080 yards and a par of 70, the course may appear longer than it seems, providing a test for golfers of all skill levels.
At Hayston Golf Club, we believe that golf should be enjoyed by all. That's why we offer a range of membership categories and currently have vacancies available. Whether you're a seasoned pro or new to the game, we welcome and encourage applications for membership. We also extend a warm invitation to visitors, who can join us for a delicious breakfast or lunch before their round or indulge in a satisfying meal afterwards.
We provide electric buggies and battery-operated push trollies for hire during your round, ensuring a comfortable and convenient golfing experience.
One of the highlights at Hayston Golf Club are our Mens, Ladies, and Mixed Opens held throughout the year. These events are incredibly popular, so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment. The Visitors tab on our website has detailed information about the various Opens. Additionally, our spacious function room is available for hire for all occasions.
