Hawera BMX Club

All riders under 7 years must also wear elbow guards and knee/shin guards, which can be sourced from The Warehouse or bike shops.

With different age ranges and heights in mind, the club provides recommendations for bike sizes such as Micro Mini, Mini, Junior, Expert, Pro, Pro XL, and Cruiser. It is advised to seek advice from someone in the club before purchasing a bike, as sizing and dimensions may vary between manufacturers.

The Hawera BMX Club also offers additional resources for riders, such as race pants (with padded knees and hip pads), race shirts, and club race shirts for sale. These items can be purchased at bike stores or motocross dealers.
