At Havering Gymnastics Club, we provide classes for boys and girls of all ages and abilities. Whether your child is a beginner or has prior gymnastics experience, we have a class that suits their needs.
Our facilities are top-notch. Since 2008, we have been based at Bower Park Academy, which boasts one of the finest fully Olympic equipped gymnastics facilities in Essex. Our facility includes a full-size sprung floor, air and tumble track, vaulting platforms, asymmetric bars, pit bars with a platform, beams, fast track, foam pits, and a wide range of general and specialist gymnastics training equipment. This state-of-the-art facility provides the ideal space for our gymnasts to train and excel.
Havering Gymnastics Club is also proud to have sister clubs, HGC and OGTC, operating in various locations. These clubs identify potential competitive gymnasts who then receive training at our dedicated centre. This collaboration allows us to provide opportunities for gymnasts to progress and reach their full potential.
In addition to our recreational classes, we offer squad training for those who are interested in taking their gymnastics to a competitive level. Gymnastics is an excellent sport for developing physical attributes such as strength, flexibility, balance, power, coordination, and spatial awareness. Training within our Women's Artistic Gymnastics squad requires dedication, effort, and courage. Our squad is made up of over 50 gymnasts, ranging in age from 5 to 18 years old, who train anywhere from 4 to over 20 hours per week.
Our experienced coaching team works with these gymnasts in groups based on their abilities, helping them prepare for various competitions across the East/South East region, as well as British Gymnastics Club, National, and Compulsory Grades programmes.
At Havering Gymnastics Club, we have a proud track record of producing national and international performers. Many of our gymnasts have represented Essex County Squad and East Regional Squad, and have been chosen to represent Essex at Regional Team Competitions. Our club is committed to helping gymnasts achieve their full potential in our superb Olympic Gymnastics facility.
