Haughton Physiotherapy is a well-established clinic located in Tarporley, providing a range of services including physiotherapy, acupuncture, and Pilates. The clinic is led by Victoria Wadlow, a highly qualified and experienced physiotherapist.

Victoria graduated from Keele University in 2004 and has since gained extensive experience in both the NHS and private practise. She has worked with various sports teams, including tennis, rugby, football, and swimming, and has a particular interest in Pilates and sporting injuries. Her expertise also extends to treating a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders.

In 2011, Victoria set up Haughton Physiotherapy in Haughton, Tarporley, and later relocated the clinic to Stoney Stretton, Shropshire in 2020, under the new name Stoney Stretton Physiotherapy. The clinic offers comprehensive physiotherapy treatments, specialising in Pilates and sports-related injuries.

The physiotherapy services at Haughton Physiotherapy encompass a variety of treatment methods, including sports massage, spinal manipulation, acupuncture, muscle strengthening, and rehabilitation. On your initial visit, Victoria will conduct a thorough assessment, which will involve both questioning and hands-on physical examination of the affected area. Based on this assessment, she will provide a diagnosis and develop a personalised treatment plan.

The aim of the treatment is to alleviate pain, restore movement, and improve physical function. Victoria may prescribe mobilisation or strengthening exercises and provide advice as part of the rehabilitation process. Follow-up appointments are scheduled within a few days to two weeks to assess progress and make any necessary adjustments to the treatment plan. If further investigations are required, Victoria can refer clients to GP's, consultants, or other healthcare professionals.

In addition to physiotherapy, Haughton Physiotherapy offers acupuncture services. Acupuncture targets trigger points that are a direct source of pain, aiding in pain relief and restoring pain-free movement.

The clinic also provides Pilates classes, offering both small group sessions and one-on-one sessions. Victoria focuses on working on specific areas, strength and flexibility improvement, and overall core strength. Equipment such as weights and bands may be incorporated, although all participants are required to bring a mat.

When not practising physiotherapy, Victoria enjoys horse riding and participating in British eventing and dressage. She also has a keen interest in Pilates and understands the importance of maintaining a strong core for overall health and well-being.
