For those interested in learning to play bridge, the Hastings Bridge Club provides various learning opportunities. Novice/Junior Lessons are offered in February, aimed at those who have recently completed beginner lessons but are open to all. These lessons aim to build upon prior learning and introduce new conventions. The three lessons cover topics such as responses to 2 clubs, the use of Gerber sequence, and possible responses over 1NT.
Steve Armon can be contacted for more information and registration.
The club also regularly conducts Beginner Lessons, providing a chance for newcomers to try the game before committing. These lessons are held on Thursdays from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and are free of charge. Interested individuals can register their interest via email or phone.
