Hartlepool Divers is a tight-knit crew led by Andy and a bunch of skilled SCUBA instructors. They’re all about making sure every diver gets top-notch training and has access to great gear. Andy’s done a cracking job setting up shop down at the marina, just a stone's throw from the water, which makes things dead easy for loading boats and running sessions.

Bags of new funding means they’re building a shiny new clubhouse, complete with a training room, boat house, compressor room, gas blending room, and even a fully stocked bar. Perfect spot for learning, hanging out, and gearing up for your next dive.

One of their best bits of kit is the club’s compressor and nitrox system. Members can get free air fills, and for a small annual fee, they can also use oxygen, helium, and nitrox thanks to the club’s Haskel booster and mixing panel. So, whatever your diving needs, Hartlepool Divers have got you covered.

Boat diving is where the action's at, and the club’s got two RHIBs ready to take you exploring the North East Coast and beyond. They even run boat handling courses so you can get the hang of navigating the club boats yourself, opening up a world of dive sites.

When it comes to training, they’re affiliated with the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC) and offer courses for all levels. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to up your game, the seasoned instructors will get you diving like a pro.

They’re open to everyone, no matter where you trained—PADI, SSI, RAID, GUE doesn’t matter. Your current cert will have a BSAC equivalent, and you can keep progressing from there.

The club is run by a committee of volunteers who bust their guts to keep everything running smoothly, organise trips, and maintain the gear. They’re elected annually and are transparent as you like, with meeting minutes available for members.
