Harrow St Mary's Youth Football Club is an integral part of the Harrow community, being in existence for over 40 years. During this time, the club has served as a hub for thousands of young individuals, providing them with a place to utilise our clubhouse and training facilities, attend weekly training sessions, and play for our esteemed teams.
One of our highlights is our Saturday Soccer School, designed specifically for our younger members. With an average attendance of 30 children per week, the programme continues to grow in popularity and participation. We take immense pride in fostering a friendly and family-oriented atmosphere, creating a safe and enjoyable footballing environment for all our players.
Being an FA Charter Standard Club, our primary focus is on developing technical abilities alongside cultivating good character. We place great emphasis on participation and abide by the FA Respect Policy, promoting values such as fair play, sportsmanship, and recognition for effort and performance.
Our achievements over the years are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our volunteers, managers, and coaches who generously give their time to the club. We owe much of our success to their unwavering commitment.
Our website features a comprehensive video gallery, showcasing various aspects of the club, including matches, events, and comedy nights. We also keep our members updated with the latest news and happenings in youth football through our affiliation with The FA and England Football. These platforms allow us to provide a safe and inclusive space for all members.
The welfare and safeguarding of our players is of utmost importance to us. We fully support the Play Safe campaign, an initiative led by The FA in collaboration with the NSPCC, leading League, EFL, Barclays FA Womens Super League, and the FA Women's Championship. This campaign aims to raise awareness of the essentials of safeguarding in football and to ensure the safety of children and young people participating in the sport. We actively participate in this campaign through screenings of short films that highlight the significance of safeguarding for clubs like ours.
These films also provide guidance to parents, caregivers, and children on appropriate actions to take if they feel unsafe or concerned.
At Harrow St Mary's Youth Football Club, we are dedicated to creating a positive and secure environment for all our players to thrive in. We believe in the power of football to bring communities together and instil valuable life skills in our young individuals.
