Royal Liverpool Golf Club is excited to announce the Harold Hilton Tournament 2024, a prestigious event open to gentlemen amateur golfers aged 30 years and over with a maximum handicap of 5. Taking place from Friday 31st May to Sunday 2nd June 2024, this event is limited to 60 players plus invitees.
Participants can look forward to an afternoon practice round on Friday, followed by a welcoming reception and supper in the Clubhouse. A dress code of jacket and tie is expected for this special occasion. Saturday will see an 18-hole scratch stroke play, with the top forty players advancing to the match play phases. Saturday evening will feature the Championship Black Tie Dinner, a must-attend event for all competitors.
Sunday will continue with the match play phases, while players who did not qualify or were defeated on Saturday can participate in the Scratch Stableford in the morning. The entry fee of £275 (£130.00 for RLGC Members) includes various tournament rounds, meals, and events throughout the weekend.
Prizes will be awarded to winners in each flight, the leading qualifier, and the winner of the scratch stableford. The overall winner will be awarded the prestigious Harold Hilton Medal, a coveted recognition that will be held by the Royal Liverpool Golf Club.
