Duncan, your organiser, here - just wanted to touch base about all things Harmeny Athletic Club. 🎽
Harmeny AC, nestled in the heart of south and west Edinburgh, is more than a club - it's a community. As a Scottish charity (No. SC048917), the club offers something for everyone, whether you're new to athletics or a seasoned runner.
Run by volunteers who also don their trainers as athletes, parents, officials, and coaches, the club's operations are overseen by a dedicated Board of Trustees. These folks ensure Harmeny sticks to its charitable constitution and adheres to SCIO regulations. The club is proudly affiliated with Scottish Athletics, our governing body.
The Board includes roles like Chair, Vice Chair, Club Secretary, Junior Representative, Membership Secretary, Treasurer, and Board Members. Beyond the Board, Welfare Officers are on hand to keep everyone safe and sound.

Throughout the year, we host a range of events and competitions. The Club Championships is an annual highlight where athletes compete against each other to showcase their talents. We also have an Open Week, perfect for anyone curious about trying athletics and learning more about us.
