Harborough Athletic Club, located in Market Harborough, is a friendly and progressive athletic club that has been serving the community since its establishment in 1984. The club offers competition, coaching, and companionship to athletes of all levels, starting from the age of 8 and upwards.
The club is primarily based at the Market Harborough Rugby Union Football Club. Junior members, aged 8-14, meet on Mondays at 6:00pm at the Market Harborough Rugby Union Football Club from April to October, and at the Robert Smyth Academy from November to March. Senior and junior members, aged 14-18, meet on Tuesdays at 6:50pm at the Market Harborough Rugby Union Football Club.
Harborough Athletic Club caters to a wide range of abilities by providing various training groups, which are roughly organised based on participants' 5 km (parkrun) times. This ensures that each athlete can train and improve at their own pace.
