Hangleton Bowling Club, located in Hove, is proud to be an Associate Member of Bowls England and affiliated with Sussex County Bowls. As a welcoming and inclusive club, Hangleton Bowling Club encourages new members to join and experience the joy of lawn bowls. The club's green is situated in Knoll Park, Hangleton, just off Rowan Avenue. They offer free taster sessions for individuals or pairs/friends who are interested in trying out the sport. The club also hosts regular social Roll-Ups on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10:30 am to noon, as well as on Mondays from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
Additionally, they can arrange free trial/coaching sessions at a convenient time for interested individuals.
Hangleton Bowling Club prides itself on its long history and strong sense of community. Established in 1954, the club is celebrating its 69th year of friendship and fun. Their green is open to members every day from 10:30 am to 9:30 pm during the bowling season, which runs from late April to the end of September. Players of all levels of experience are welcome, and beginners can receive free one-on-one personal tuition from qualified coaches within the club.
All necessary equipment and coaching will be provided, although participants should wear shoes/trainers without heels.
