The Kids Club can be made through the email as well. The Kids Club at Ham House Stables provides a fun and educational environment for young riders to learn and grow in their equestrian skills. Private riding lessons and groundwork lessons are offered throughout the year, allowing children to receive personalised instruction and guidance. In addition to lessons, Ham House Stables also organises stable management and riding camps during school holidays, providing children with the opportunity to immerse themselves in all aspects of horsemanship.

Lessons are conducted in a secure and pleasant environment, with each rider receiving the instructor's undivided attention. The instructors progress with care and always at the child's pace, ensuring that they feel comfortable and confident as they learn.

This is why the stables offer liberty groundwork and natural horsemanship lessons, as well as classical in-hand work and long-reining. These lessons allow riders to create a dynamic relationship with the horse, gaining insight into their movement and learning how to ride with more feel and harmony.

For those interested in livery services, Ham House Stables offers both full and working livery options. Full livery costs 1,250 per month and includes all care, daily schooling, exercise, and turn out. Working livery costs 1,000 per month and includes the same services as full livery, with the horse being lightly used for appropriate lessons. The owner has priority over the horse's riding time.

Located just 10 minutes from Richmond and Kingston stations, Ham House Stables is a tranquil retreat for horse lovers and riders of all abilities. Owned and run by Minette Rice Edwards, the stables have received a Five-Star rating and are ABRS approved. Minette Rice Edwards, with her lifetime of experience, uses her expertise to show everyday riders with ordinary horses how to improve their performance through more effective communication.
