Tom Duffey Hockey Schools is excited to announce the upcoming Halifax Spring Specialty Hockey Schools, where young players can enhance their skills and have a blast on the ice. The sessions will be held at Centennial Arena from April 26 to May 13, 2024, catering to kids aged 5 to 17.
For the little ones in U7 (IP2/3), there's the U9 (Novice) programs to look forward to. Led by the talented Marie Bowness, former Canadian Skating Pairs Champion, the Power Skating sessions will cover essential techniques like quick starts, stopping, acceleration, crossovers, and more. Meanwhile, the Puckhandling & Shooting schools will focus on improving skills such as puck protection, passing, shooting mechanics, and power.
With each on-ice session lasting around 5 to 6 hours, players are sure to get plenty of practice and guidance.
