About

The Hadley Angling and Preservation Society (HAPS), a fishing club based in Barnet, invites you to join them for an exciting local fishing event. Established in 1982, HAPS is a small and friendly club that aims to oversee fishing activities in the area, ensuring a well-managed and enjoyable experience for all.

The event will take place at Jack's Lake, which is nestled within the picturesque Hadley Woods in Barnet, Hertfordshire. Whether you are a club member or a day ticket holder, the lake warmly welcomes you to try your luck with a fishing rod in hand.

With a generous number of 44 pegs available, of which 27 can be accessed through day tickets, there is plenty of space for everyone to cast their lines. The lake boasts a diverse range of fish species, including carp, bream, and roach, among others. You might even be lucky enough to reel in tench, chub, perch, pike, rudd, gudgeon, and on the rare occasion, eels and barbel.

If you're eager to embark on a day of fishing, day tickets are conveniently available from dawn until dusk. Simply set up your fishing gear and one of our friendly bailiffs will approach you to collect the required rod fees.

To stay updated on upcoming events and the latest news from HAPS, be sure to regularly visit our website. We look forward to welcoming you to our fishing community and sharing our love for angling at Jack's Lake.
